PA Maths – How to… Workshops EYFS & Years 1-6, 2020-21
We have designed the PA Maths “How to… ” sessions to be comprehensive in meeting the needs of schools, through dialogue with our PA Maths members, via training feedback and in-school visits. These sessions are designed by maths specialists to focus on a specific area of maths teaching, to really unpick the intricacy of teaching that skill and how best to facilitate learning. We look at a range of practical strategies that can be easily translated into classroom practice, aiming to answer the questions we are asked most commonly.
Training is currently running remotely on the dates below, from 2-3.30pm. Materials and tasks may be sent to participants in advance and training materials will be provided after the session. Further details will be provided nearer the time.
Decisions about face to face training in Summer term will be taken later in the year. If and when face-to-face training resumes this year we plan to continue offering the training online too, to give members both options.
