We have designed the PA Maths “How to… ” sessions to be comprehensive in meeting the needs of schools, through dialogue with our PA Maths members, via training feedback and in-school visits. These sessions are designed by maths specialists to focus on a specific area of maths teaching, to really unpick the intricacy of teaching that skill and how best to facilitate learning. We look at a range of practical strategies that can be easily translated into classroom practice, aiming to answer the questions we are asked most commonly.
2023-24: sessions will continue to run online, with sessions either running from 2-3.30pm unless otherwise stated, or after school so that schools can run them as a staff meeting for the whole school if they wish. Dates for all sessions are below. Timings and booking information will be sent regularly to members, or please enquire.
