All EYFS training has been updated for 2020-21. Due to COVID-19 ongoing restrictions, training is currently being delivered remotely, and we will review for summer term 2021 whether face-to-face training is possible. If not we will continue to deliver it remotely on the same days as planned, though the online sessions will usually be shorter. Please check back here nearer the time for the latest details as needed.
Our vision for the early years is based on the premise that every child receives the very best provision, which both inspires and engages them; supporting their development and ensuring they have a solid base of key skills and are ‘school ready’ at the end of the Reception year. To do this we have embedded a systematic approach which ensures the learning opportunities for all are enhanced. Our planning processes are robust and build on the knowledge we ascertain from our assessment practices.
We are dedicated in our aims to develop and deepen our knowledge and systems. Working collaboratively is part of our highly successful strategy and has been critically important in the development of our planning and assessment methodology and practice. Interwoven in our practice is the belief that high expectations for both the children and ourselves enable goals to be reached and exceeded. We are enthusiastic and driven. Our practice reflects our depth of knowledge.
Through sharing our experiences with the wider primary community through our EYFS programme, including the PA Maths Programme, we seek to make a positive contribution towards the quality of teaching and learning in the EYFS within our own federation and beyond.
This programme details opportunities for all adults in the EYFS to develop their knowledge, skills and practice and share these with others. Please contact us with any questions and enquiries.
