We are delighted to introduce a new and expanded range of EYFS-specific workshops for PA Maths. All EYFS training in 2021-22 has been updated and will support teachers in delivery of the new EYFS reforms and Early Learning Goals:
Training for 2021-22 will continue to run remotely from 2-3.30pm on the dates below. Materials and tasks may be sent to participants in advance and training materials will be provided after the session.
A summary of the workshop running in 2021-22 is below.
- How children learn mathematics and integrating maths throughout the day
- The importance of counting and the use of manipulatives to develop understanding
- How to develop pattern awareness with young children
- How to develop understanding of shape, space and measure in EYFS
- How to develop understanding of number facts in EYFS
- Maths outdoors and via stories, in EYFS
