One of our experienced senior leaders at Primary Advantage is recognised by the National College for School Leadership as a National Leader of Education (NLE).
NLEs use their success and professionalism as school leaders, along with the staff in their schools – previously designated as National Support Schools (NSS) – to provide additional leadership capability in schools requiring support. The deployment is tailor-made to suit the needs of each school, and can range from short, specific, targeted support to longer-term more comprehensive packages. The type of support provided is flexible and can sometimes involve NLEs becoming or acting as executive head of the client school or deploying other senior leaders and specialists within their team to support other schools.
Professor Toby Salt, whilst at NCTL, said: “It’s great that so many heads want to become NLEs, looking beyond their own school gates to help more and more pupils get the best start in life. This scheme is about the best school leaders helping the rest and the results speak for themselves with benefits for both the schools and academies being supported and those providing the support”.
