What comes to mind when you think about “challenge” in the context of mathematics in the primary classroom? This year’s PA Maths Conference is focussed on how we can ensure all children, regardless of ability or age, have an appropriate level of challenge, that supports them to become confident and flexible mathematical thinkers.   We are delighted to welcome back Gareth Metcalfe as our keynote speaker this year.  Gareth is the author of I See Maths and I See Reasoning, and has worked with schools and teachers across the country to deepen their knowledge and skills in teaching high quality maths lessons.  Gareth will be joined by a range of skilled primary maths specialists who will deliver practical workshops along this theme.  We welcome all primary school teachers, maths leads and school leaders to join us for day of rich maths CPD.    See more details about the conference here.
