On receiving your application at Primary Advantage we will review and invite suitable candidates to an interview in one of our schools. Full details of the interview process will be given at the time.
We hope our thorough interview experience will give you a good insight into our schools to help you make your decision, as well as giving us a good rounded opportunity to see your skills and abilities.
If successful at this interview we will recommend you to our university partners for a place on the programme. They will check your eligibility and suitability and they will make the final decision and offer.
Initial interviews are currently online and comprise information about our schools and what it is like to train with us, an activity or presentation which you can prepare in advance, an interview with our team and English and maths assessments via our partner universities. For the apprenticeship route a second stage interview will take place in one of our schools to give you the opportunity to see our school setting and for us to see you interacting with and teaching a short activity to some of our children.
In line with DFE Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance our pre-interview checks include online searches into all shortlisted candidates. Please be aware at the point of being offered an interview you will be asked for your social media names.
