31 May Gwen GutzmoreHoly Trinity Local Advisory Board member
Gwen trained as a Nurse, then qualified as a State Certified Midwife in 1967. She has worked in a number of midwifery roles including a Clinical Specialist for Delivery Suite before her transition to Midwifery Manager at the Homerton Hospital.
Following her retirement from the National Health Service Gwen became a school Governor in 2006 and was actively involved in the advent of the Primary Advantage Federation of two schools progressing to six and more recently to eight schools. She was previously the federation’s chair of governors. In 2016 she was awarded the St. Mellitus Medal for services to schools and parish over the years. Gwen believes she brings a blend of wisdom, warmth and serenity to the community of schools within the Federation. While she has now stood down as a federation governor, Gwen remains committed to Holy Trinity Primary School as a member of its Local Advisory Board.
