On Tuesday afternoon, our Rights Respecting Ambassadors hosted a special Christmas Lunch for elderly people in our local area; this is part of their school pledge to help tackle elderly loneliness. The children worked together and thought very carefully about the steps they would need to take in order to put on the event; they created invitations, menus and decorations! On the day, the children served a beautiful roast dinner to the elderly visitors and performed some Christmas carols after they had finished eating. The children would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that helped to set up or made donations; without support the event would not have been possible. As a school, we would like to say a massive well done to each and every member of the Rights Respecting Team; your kindness and generosity is something that you should all be very proud of!
